SOURCES BEFORE SPECULATION.
Our sourcing, labelling, corrections and image policies.
Start with the record
Primary Rockstar Games and Take-Two material is the first port of call for official claims. Credible dated press reporting can add context, but an inference is never presented as an official announcement.
Numbered citations
Factual passages link to numbered source records in the same story. Each public record includes the original URL, publisher and access date; supporting research excerpts are retained privately for editorial review. An access date is not the announcement date; older material is labelled as archive context.
Four types of story
- News
- reports a dated event.
- Guide
- explains a reader question.
- Analysis
- draws clearly signposted interpretation from evidence.
- Fact check
- compares a claim with the available record.
Unknown means unknown
We do not invent a PC launch date, technical performance target, map measurement, multiplayer launch plan or price. A missing announcement is not proof that a feature cannot exist. Rumours must be labelled and kept separate from confirmed information.
Corrections and updates
When a material fact changes, the article should be revised against the new source, its updated date changed and the nature of the correction stated in the body. Sources and their dates remain part of the audit trail.
Tools and responsibility
This publication is assembled with AI-assisted research, writing and production tools. Tools do not turn unsupported statements into facts: the linked source record is the basis on which readers should assess every claim.
Media integrity
Official imagery and videos retain source attribution. Generated brand illustration is labelled, never passed off as gameplay and never used as evidence for a game feature.
