Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album brings 34 original songs to the game's launch campaign. Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced the project on September 17, 2026, with the complete record due on November 19 alongside GTA VI. Streaming, vinyl and CD are all part of the release plan.[1][3][4]
This is a commissioned album, not a complete transcription of the game's radio playlists. That distinction matters for anyone trying to work out which music is genuinely confirmed and which station lists still come from speculation.[1][3]
The six available songs
Six singles are already available to hear, while the full album can be pre-saved or pre-ordered. The named releases cover several styles and bring together artists beyond the performers whose songs were heard in the trailers.[1][2]
The singles are That's It by Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin; RHYNO by Travis Scott, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; Sexy Magic by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Étienne de Crécy; Last Thing You Need by Morgan Wallen; Macacoa 2000 by Rauw Alejandro; and Bright Lights, Big City by Keith Richards.[1][3]
Those six titles are the announced starting selection, not the full 34-track running order. Guy-Manuel's involvement also should not be abbreviated into a claim that Daft Punk as a duo produced the Travis Scott track.[1][3]
Album songs and trailer music are different evidence
Listeners have identified licensed music by artists including Depeche Mode, Def Leppard and Phil Collins in the marketing footage. Such appearances establish the music used in those videos, but they do not automatically establish a radio station's playlist in the finished game.[3]
The album adds a different category: newly made songs for GTA VI's world. Rockstar places it alongside the radio stations, score and other music that accompany the game. That wording treats the record as part of a wider musical programme, not as a substitute for publishing those other elements.[1]
What physical buyers can choose
Billboard describes Atlantic's liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter vinyl design and a CD in a jewel case, with distinct artwork and packaging. It also lists retailer pressings and posters through Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent record shops.[1]
Those are album formats and retailer variants. They should not be confused with Standard or Ultimate game editions, or with the separately sold merchandise collector's box. Red Bull notes the contrast that the music has a conventional physical release while the retail game box supplies a download code.[3]
What the announcement does not publish
Red Bull identifies a V-Rock reference in official screenshot material, but the available coverage does not supply a complete, formally announced station roster. Nor does it give the remaining album tracks or assign the singles to named in-game stations.[3]
For a listener, there is already a concrete offer: six songs to sample and a 34-track album scheduled for November 19. For a radio guide, more evidence is needed. Keeping those tasks apart lets the music coverage be useful now without turning an album announcement into a fictional playlist.[1][2][3]
